Compare subsidized Marketplace plans, check if you qualify for premium tax credits, and enroll with a licensed agent — at no extra cost.
You almost certainly qualify for help
Under current rules, Marketplace subsidies extend well into the middle class — a household earning six figures can still receive assistance depending on age and local plan prices. The only way to know your number is to run it, and that's exactly what a free consultation does.
We enter your household size, ages, ZIP code, and estimated income, then show the after-credit premium for each carrier side by side. No guessing at the checkout screen.
Silver plans hide the best deal for many families
If your income falls in the Cost-Sharing Reduction range, a Silver plan can quietly carry far lower deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums than its sticker price suggests — often making it a better value than a Gold plan. It's the kind of detail an online quote engine won't flag for you.
The metal tiers, in plain English
Marketplace plans are grouped into metal tiers by how you and the insurer split costs. Higher-metal plans cost more per month but far less when you use care:
| Tier | Premium | Out-of-pocket | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Lowest | Highest | Young, healthy, mainly want catastrophic protection |
| Silver | Moderate | Moderate (extra savings if income qualifies) | Most popular — the tier where subsidies work hardest |
| Gold | Higher | Lower copays & deductibles | Regular care or multiple prescriptions |
| Platinum | Highest | Lowest | Frequent care or expensive treatments |
Who qualifies — and when you can enroll
You can typically use the Marketplace if you don't have affordable employer coverage — including if you're self-employed or 1099, recently lost job-based coverage, are between jobs, aging off a parent's plan at 26, or an early retiree not yet on Medicare. Income-based subsidies run for individuals earning roughly $15,000–$60,000/year (higher for families).
- Open Enrollment — roughly November 1 to January 15; anyone can enroll or switch plans.
- Special Enrollment — triggered by a qualifying event (losing coverage, marriage, divorce, a baby, a move, or an income change).
We check your doctors and drugs first
A cheap premium is no bargain if your primary-care doctor is out of network or your prescription isn't on the formulary. Before you enroll, we confirm your providers participate and price your specific medications on each plan.
Not eligible for subsidies? There's still a path
If your income is too high for Marketplace tax credits, a PPO indemnity plan can sometimes cost far less than an unsubsidized Marketplace plan, with no network restrictions. We'll compare that option honestly against the Marketplace so you see the real trade-off.
