Instant-Decision Term Life with Living Benefits

Life insurance shouldn't take months of paperwork and a nurse at your kitchen table. Modern accelerated-underwriting term life can get many healthy applicants a real decision in minutes — and increasingly includes living benefits you can tap if a serious illness strikes.

Term life you can often qualify for in minutes — no medical exam for many applicants — and that includes living benefits you can use if you get seriously ill.

A decision in minutes, not months

Accelerated underwriting uses data instead of a mandatory medical exam for many healthy applicants, which means you can often apply online and get a real decision quickly. Not everyone qualifies for the fastest path — but when you do, protecting your family stops being a someday project.

Living benefits: coverage you might actually use

The best modern term policies include accelerated death benefit riders — letting you access part of the death benefit early if you're diagnosed with a qualifying terminal, chronic, or critical illness (like a heart attack or stroke, or being unable to perform activities of daily living). It reframes term life from a bet on dying into protection you may use while living, and InstaBrain includes these living benefits at no extra cost.

Coverage options

Coverage runs from $50,000 to $1,000,000, with term lengths from 10 to 30 years — choose the length and amount that fit your budget and family:

How it works, and optional riders

You apply online in minutes — a few health and lifestyle questions, no exam or blood work — and get an instant decision (a policy number on approval, or a few business days if more review is needed). Your welcome package with policy documents arrives within 3–5 business days. You can also customize with an Accidental Death rider (up to $250,000 extra) or a Child rider ($5,000–$25,000 of coverage for your children).

FAQ

Common questions

Can I really skip the medical exam?

Many healthy applicants qualify for no-exam, accelerated underwriting — but it depends on your age, coverage amount, and health history. If you don't qualify for the instant path, traditional underwriting is still available. We'll match you to the fastest route you qualify for.

What will I need to apply?

Have your date of birth, citizenship status, driver's license, your primary-care physician's name and last-visit date, a list of current medications, and details on any existing life insurance policies.

Is instant-decision term life more expensive?

Not necessarily. For healthy applicants, accelerated underwriting is often competitively priced, and premiums are fixed. We compare exam and no-exam options so you see the trade-off before deciding.

How much does it cost to work with Mere Benefits?

Nothing extra. Plan prices are set by the carriers and are identical whether you enroll on your own or with a licensed agent — we're paid by the carriers, so our guidance is free to you.

How do I get started?

Call or text (904) 654-5450, email info@merebenefits.com, or use our contact form. We'll set up a relaxed, no-pressure conversation — in person on the First Coast, or by phone and video.

Are you independent, or tied to one insurance company?

Independent. We aren't captive to a single insurer, so we compare the options across the carriers we represent and recommend what fits you — not what pays us most.

Will I have to change doctors?

Not if we can help it. Before recommending a plan we confirm your doctors are in-network and your prescriptions are covered, so keeping your care is part of the decision.

Can you help by phone and video, or only in person?

Both. We meet clients in person across Northeast Florida and Camden County, GA, and serve all 11 of our licensed states by phone and video.
